Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Contents of the Update Current Depreciation YR & Days/PDS Remaining Screen

Use the fields and options to configure the Update Current Depreciation YR & Days/PDS Remaining screen.

Selection Ranges

Use the following fields to select the book, the beginning and ending depreciation start dates for which data will be changed in your Asset Master records.

Book No:

Field Description
Option

You cannot edit this field and it will always display One.

Start

Enter the book number for which data should be changed in your Asset Master records. Lookup is not available at this field.

Depreciation Date:

You cannot edit this fields and it will always display Range.

Start

Enter, or click to select, the beginning depreciation date of the range for which data will be changed in your Asset Master records. There is no validation of the start date in this field.

End

Enter, or click to select, the ending depreciation date of the range for which data will be changed in your Asset Master records. There is no validation of the start date in this field.

Current Depreciation Year:

You cannot edit this field and it will always display One.

Start

Enter the current depreciation year to be used by the system when you execute the toolkit.

When you run this toolkit, the system will replace existing data in the Current Depr Yr field with the data from this field in the specified book for all Asset Master records whose depreciation start date falls within the range you entered on this screen.

Days/Periods Remaining:

Option

You cannot edit this field and it will always display One.

Start

Enter the days/periods remaining number to be used by the system when you execute the toolkit.

When you run this toolkit, the system will replace existing data in the Days/Pds Remaining field with the data from this field in the specified book for all Asset Master records whose depreciation start date falls within the range you entered on this screen.

Execute

Click the Execute button to initiate the Update process. The system displays a message once the process has been completed.
