Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Use the fields and options to configure the Manage System Benefit Types screen.

Field Description
System Benefit Type Code This field displays the code used by Costpoint for the system benefit type.
Description Enter a description for the system benefit type. This description will be used in Employee Self Service and throughout the Benefits module.

This field will only be enabled if the System Benefit Type Code is OTHER2 - OTHER9.

Dependents Allowed Select this check box to enable dependent setup functionality on the following screens:
  • Manage Benefit Plans
  • Benefits Enrollment
  • Life Events/New Hires

This check box will only be enabled if the System Benefit Type Code is OTHER2 - OTHER9.

Beneficiaries Required Select this check box to enable beneficiary setup functionality on the following screens:
  • Manage Benefit Plans
  • Benefits Enrollment
  • Life Events/New Hires

This check box will only be enabled if the System Benefit Type Code is OTHER2 - OTHER9.

Order Number This field displays the order number to display the benefit type on the Benefits Enrollment screen in ESS.
