Company Masking Concepts
The Company Masking functionality in Maconomy is designed to mask all user and employee information associated with a specified company.
When activated, it applies the same masking process used for individual user data but on a company-wide scale. This includes:
- Changing the username to a designated masking value and updating every occurrence of the username across the system, with deletion of the user record if applicable.
- Modifying the corresponding employee name—as well as names in associated contact and vendor records—to the masked version, while preserving the employee record.
- Clearing personal information from pertinent fields and the logs that record changes related to user, employee, and related data.
