Delete a Contract Type

If a contract type becomes obsolete, you have the option to delete it from the system. Notably, when a contract type is deleted, any items previously created under that type are retained within the system for record-keeping purposes, ensuring a comprehensive audit trail of contractual activities.

To delete a contract type:

  1. Navigate to the Workflow Zone.
    If the Workflow tab is not visible on the main header bar, click more to access the additional zones.
  2. Click the System Actions tab.
  3. In the Contract Management section, click Configure Contract Management.
  4. On the Manage Contract Management Settings screen, click on the Contract Management Types header.
  5. On the Remove Contract Management Type screen, click for the contract type that you want to delete.
  6. Click Save.
