Copy Resources from Another Project Plan

To save time, you can copy resources from another project plan to your current project plan.

To copy resources from another project resource plan:

1. Go to the project that you want to copy resources to and click the Accounting tab.
   If the Accounting tab is not visible, click more to display all available tabs.
2. On the Workstage Summary band, click .
3. On the Copy from existing Resource Plan window, use the Source Entity Class list to select the entity type that you want to copy resources from. You choose either project or enquiry.
4. In the Source Entity field, enter the name of the project or enquiry that you want copy resources from.
5. To change the week when the resources will start on the project, click on the New Resource Plan Start Date and select the week.
6. For each source work stage or variation that you want to copy resources from, select the destination work stage or variation that you want to copy the resources to.
7. Click Copy.
   By default, each resource that is copied to the resource plan gets assigned the equivalent of 4 days per week for each work stage or variation they get copied to. To change a resource's allocation after they have been copied to the resource plan, see Modify or Remove an Allocation.
