Create Journal Types
Use the Journal Types submodule to create journal types.
To use the Journal Types submodule, you must have access to Settings as defined in the User Access Rights submodule under Settings.
To create a journal type:

On the main toolbar, click
Settings
.
- If you have more than one company in your system, use the drop-down list above the left pane of the Settings screen to select the company for which you want to create a journal type.
- In the left pane of the Settings screen, click .

Click the Journal Types tab and on the grid toolbar, click
Create New
.
- In the Create New Journal Type dialog box, enter the name of the journal type that you want to create and click OK.
- You can edit the different fields by double-clicking on the corresponding field.
