Enable Automatic Creation of Journal Entries

Use the Journal Types submodule to enable the automatic creation of journal entries for the selected journal types.

To use the Journal Types submodule, you must have access to Settings as defined in the User Access Rights submodule under Settings.

To enable the automatic creation of journal entries for a journal type:

  1. On the main toolbar, click Settings .
  2. If you have more than one company in your system, use the drop-down list above the left pane of the Settings screen to select the company containing the journal type that you want to enable the automatic creation of journal entries for.
  3. In the left pane of the Settings screen, click Finance > Journal Types.
  4. Click the Journal Types tab.
  5. Highlight the journal type that you want to enable the automatic creation of journal entries for and select the Automatic check box.
