Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Report Objects Widget

Advanced Reporting Tool users with a strong understanding of MySQL can use the Report Objects widget (Report Working Area >> Tools >> Report Objects) to manage a report's data objects.

The Report Object widget shows a simple visual representation of how the report's objects are structured and joined. The order and how objects are joined define the logic of your report. This feature is only accessible while creating or editing reports.

Field Description
Filter Enter all or part of a key word or phrase to narrow results.
Add Data Objects Click Add Data Objects to open the Field and Data Objects widget on the opposite side of the working area, where you can search for and add additional objects.
Objects Click on an object title to expand options for adding, removing, cloning, and joining objects. Hover over options, such as Join On detail, for more information.
