Map Network Folders to Projects
You map source network folders to projects through the PIM Administration Zone.
Note: You require the UDC.Map role to map network folders to projects.
After you map a network folder to a project, project members can view and edit unmanaged documents within the folder from the Documents tab on mapped projects, and publish them to the PIM Document Management System.
Document Security
Users can only access unmanaged files in PIM if they have the same permissions granted on the shared network folders. This means that even if a file appears in search results from mapped projects, users won't be able to view or edit it without the necessary network-level permissions.
