You can generate a report that compares planned versus actual resource cost by contact across projects. The report can be configured to include a variety of information.
To report on planned versus actual resource cost by contact:

On the header bar, click
Activity Zone.

In the
Search Activity Zone field at the top, enter
Search planned v actual resource cost by contact, and then click the link that displays.

In the Search pane on the left, enter or select any search criteria for any of the report fields that you want to filter by.
To add additional filterable fields to the report, click

on the Extended pane, and then select each additional field that you want to include.

To add an OR search, click
Add 'Or' Search on the toolbar.
OR searches enable you to search for data that meets more than one condition. For example, you can filter the report to show results from multiple work stages or project statuses. Any data that matches at least one OR search criteria is returned in the results. When you add an OR search, a new search tab is added which you use to define additional search field values.

To customize the report output, click
Edit Output.
You can add and remove columns and apply sorting and grouping to the report. For information, see Edit the Search Output.

When you are ready to create the report, click
Generate Report.
