Modify or Remove an Allocation

You can view and modify resource assignments for a contact across all of their projects by accessing the resource plan at the contact level. This allows you to make changes to resource assignments as needed, without having to open each project individually.

To modify or remove an allocation:

  1. Go to the contact record and click the Resourcing tab.
    You can click a contact on a project resource plan to access their record. You can also search for contacts from the Activity Zone.
  2. On the Resource Planner toolbar, click Edit Plan.
  3. From the Allocation list, select the number of days, hours, or percentage that you want to allocate.
    To remove an allocation for a particular resource you choose the option that relates to zero time, such as 0 days, 0 hours, and so on.
  4. Click the cell that relates to the week, resource, and work stage/variation that you want to update.
  5. When you have finished updating the resource plan, click Save.
