Edit an Organization

To change organization information, go to the Organizations area and select the organization.

To edit an organization, complete the following steps:
  1. Click to go to the Organizations area.
  2. Use the search field immediately above the organization name to select the organization that you want to edit.
  3. To change information in the summary on the left side of the Organizations area or information on the Overview tab, do one or more of the following:
    • To change the value in a field with a drop-down list, indicated by , click the field and select the value.
    • To change the value in a field with an edit dialog box, hover over the field to display the icon, click , and enter or select the value.
    • To edit multiple fields using the Edit Organization form, click on the Organizations toolbar. Click on the Edit Organization toolbar to save your changes.
  4. To change the touchpoints for the organization, click the Touchpoints tab, and do one or more of the following:
    • To add a new touchpoint, click + Add Touchpoint below the Touchpoints grid.
    • To change a field value for a touchpoint, enter or select the value in that field.
    • To add or view a Kona task for a touchpoint, hover over the grid row and click at the end of the row.
    • To remove a touchpoint, hover over the grid row and click at the end of the row.
  5. To change the associations for the organization, click the Associations tab, and do one or more of the following:
    • To add a new association with an opportunity, click + Add Opportunity below the Opportunities grid.
    • To add a new association with another organization, click + Add Organization below the Organizations grid.
    • To change a field value for an association, enter or select the value in that field.
    • To remove an association, hover over the grid row and click at the end of the row.
  6. To change information about contacts for the organization, click the Contacts tab, and do one or more of the following:
    • To add a new contact, click + Add Touchpoint below the contacts grid.
    • To change a field value for a contact, enter or select the value in that field.
    • To change contact phone numbers, location, or email address, hover over the grid row and click at the end of the row.
    • To remove a contact, hover over the grid row and click at the end of the row.
  7. To change the team information for the organization, click the Team tab, and do one or more of the following:
    • To add one of your employees as a team member, click + Add Team Member below the grid.
    • To change a field value for a team member, enter or select the value in that field.
    • To enter or change a description of the relationship between the employee and the organization, hover over the grid row and click at the end of the row.
    • To remove an employee from the team, hover over the grid row and click at the end of the row.
